Grantwood is the proud home to nearly 900 residents, 345 homes, Grant’s Farm, The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, and Grant’s Trail. The Village is an active community with engaged and neighborly residents; it truly is a unique place to live.

Notes from the June Meeting

At the regular June meeting, The Board of Trustees passed three ordinances; fence height around swimming pools, police contract, and an increase in municipal court fines.

Residents wanting fencing around their swimming pools now have the option of 4 feet to 5 feet height. Previous ordinances capped the height to 4 feet.

The contract with the St. Louis County Police Department expired at the end of the 2009 fiscal year (June 30, 2009). We now have a new 5 year contract.

Municipal Court fines were increased to bring our fines into line with other municipalities.
